Reorganisation of family business
We were recommended, by an existing client, to a family in need of strategic corporate advice.
The family operated two businesses via two companies with shared contracts and common parts. History had resulted in a structure which was not fit for purpose, encumbered growth and was now a source of family angst.
We were able to make significant changes to their structure to allow the profitable elements of both ventures to thrive. A new corporate structure was implemented, separating out the key aspects of each business and creating one entity. This venture is now a thriving UK business with strong financial performance.
Our team were able to combine their specialisms to deliver the desired outcome whilst also manage the family dynamics. We continue to be advisors to the family and their business.
Michael Leather and Ryan Harrison devised and completed the reorganisation of the family businesses.
Alex Newsham oversaw the VAT aspects.
